Goneau Family Tree

A collaborative family tree app where family members sign in, claim their identity, and get editing rights based on their actual position in the tree. Features a visual pedigree chart, computed relationship labels, a story timeline, photo galleries with face tagging, and consent-based privacy.

Permissions are derived from your real family position, not assigned roles. The app computes your relationship to every person and uses that to determine what you can edit. Living people are protected by default; deceased relatives unlock for close family.
